Ruang Citarum is an emerging Eco, Art, and Cultural Hub in Batujajar, West Java, founded by me, a local painter passionate about art, nature, and Sundanese culture.
As a volunteer, you'll join me in developing this initiative through creative activities, cultural exchange, and environmental storytelling. Depending on your interests, you can experiment with painting and recycled materials, document local stories, or help develop ideas for future projects.
You'll also experience everyday Sundanese life by sharing meals with my family, exploring the neighborhood, and discovering the Citarum River and its surrounding communities.
Ruang Citarum is still growing, so this is an opportunity to exchange skills, share ideas, and help shape a project from its early stages. You don\'t need to be a professional artist—just bring your curiosity, open mind, and willingness to learn together!
Volunteers contribute around 20 hours per week, usually over four days, with three days off. We\'ll discuss a flexible weekly schedule together, depending on ongoing projects, weather, and your interests.
Activities may include:
