The three dogs are adorable, and walking with them was a lovely extra part of this volunteering. The work was easy: helping with breakfast, cleaning rooms, and keeping common areas clean. The schedule (6 a.m. to 11 a.m.) gave me a lot of free time to enjoy the pool, go to the beach, or explore the area by foot or bike. My first experience at Worldpackers was wonderful! The inn is located in a paradise between forest and beach. Mara is welcoming, she made me feel at ease and introduced me to the local culture. The tasks are calm. Two points: Mara is frequently away and Ezequiel takes over the routine; although she has been kind at various moments, at other times I felt a little unwelcome. The social media position also includes tasks of the inn, which are a priority. It was a very special experience, in a place that already makes me nostalgic.
