Volunteering at the hostel was such a great experience. Alex really makes you feel at home from the very start! The work isn't very difficult at all, only basic housekeeping of the dorms/cleaning bathrooms and common spaces/doing laundry and once you finish, youre done for the day, so some days I was done early. The location is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood of Bangkok close to all the action. Alex also took suggestions for activities for the hostel to do together so if you want to be able to organize events for the hostel, it's a great opportunity (totally optional of course)! I highly recommend this hostel to anyone who is looking for volunteer in Bangkok. The working hours were reasonable, and the tasks were simple and easy to manage, so I was able to enjoy my time as well. The owner was also very friendly and approachable, and he taught me a lot about the local life and Bangkok. Thanks to him, I had a really good time and was able to experience Bangkok in a more local way!
