Program Details

Kau Aike Patagonia is a small campsite located in Puerto Natales, created and managed by locals. It is a project that we are gradually building and improving. We are looking for responsible, organized volunteers with a positive attitude who would like to be part of our team and help us welcome guests, respond to availability inquiries, and assist with the daily tasks at the campsite.

During your stay, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in customer service and meet travelers from different parts of the world.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers work 20 hours per week, divided into 4 working days and 3 days off. Tasks include welcoming guests, assisting with check-in and check out, answering questions about availability, providing general information about Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine, collecting payments when needed, and keeping bathrooms, showers, and common areas clean and tidy.
Tasks and shifts will be organized in advance according to the campsite’s needs. Shifts may be scheduled in the morning or afternoon. We value responsibility, initiative, flexibility, teamwork, and good communication.

Rules

We ask volunteers to be respectful, responsible, punctual, and committed to the agreed schedule. Please take care of the facilities, keep your personal camping space clean and organized, help maintain shared areas, respect quiet hours and other guests, and use water and energy responsibly.

As you’ll be camping during your stay, please bring your own camping gear, including a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, and personal cooking equipment.

Good communication is important to us. If you have any questions, concerns, or need to make changes during your stay, please feel free to talk to us openly.
