Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

As a volunteer at Bidea Hostel, you’ll enjoy much more than just a place to stay: you’ll have the opportunity to explore colorful towns, see incredible landscapes, discover Colombian traditions, and have unforgettable adventures.

• Explore Filandia: walk its colorful streets, visit the Colina Iluminada viewpoint, see its crafts and enjoy its coffees and restaurants.
• Visit Salento: stroll through its traditional streets, visit the viewpoint and enjoy its tourist atmosphere
• Discover the Cocora Valley: admire the wax palms, enjoy ecological hikes and contemplate some of Colombia’s most emblematic landscapes
• Discover the Coffee Cultural Landscape: visit coffee farms, learn about Colombian coffee and discover the region’s traditions
• Tour other towns: visit places like Circasia, Quimbaya, Montenegro, Pijao and Córdoba, each with its own charm
• Enjoy nature: discover waterfalls, trails, nature reserves, viewpoints and green spaces.
• Live adventures: depending on your tastes and budget, you can find activities such as horseback riding, cycling, hiking and adventure parks.

🏡 How does volunteering work?
We offer accommodation and breakfast included in exchange for four weekly shifts of six hours, for a total of 24 hours per week.
The activities are simple and mainly consist of covering reception shifts, helping with the basic tasks of guest care, and performing a weekly light cleaning shift of the facilities. The cleaning is minimal, as we aim to keep the hostel organized and pleasant without the chores occupying all your time.
The exchange lasts a minimum of two weeks, ideal to settle in calmly, meet new people and enjoy all that the region offers.
