Welcome to The Oriental Village in Mae On! We are a boutique jungle resort run by a passionate small team. We love sharing our peaceful environment and our passion for authentic hospitality with creative souls. We want to show the world the hidden gems of our region, starting with a stunning local Tibetan monastery. When you join us, you become part of our resort family. You'll get to enjoy the gorgeous nature, hang out with our lovely pets (Pempin the dog and Toffy the cat), and help us tell our visual story to the world.
We ask for 20 hours of creative help per week, giving you 3 full days off to explore Chiang Mai! Your main, exciting project will be filming and editing a beautiful short documentary about the nearby Tibetan monastery. For the remaining time, we’d love for you to capture the daily magic of our resort—taking high-quality photos and creating fun reels of our tropical surroundings, delicious food, and resort life.
Important: You must bring your own professional camera gear and editing laptop!
