Community Manager in a rural coliving (3 months stay only)

Program Details

**programm:**
- This is a non-paid voluntary position of around 25 hours a week with two days off (excluding fixed moments like family meetings and weekly meetings).
- Housing in a private room for the season
- Coliving benefits: Colivers' skillshares, pueblo workshops (sometimes with a fee), use of the coworking space, free coffee and tea, etc.
- Flexibility to work on side projects on your own time.

This is a beautiful opportunity to shape a pioneering rural-impact project and to grow with it.

Activities & Shift

**activities:**
We are a rural activation project that blends wellbeing, community and social impact.

The future community manager needs to be available to live in Benarrabá for one of our two seasons of 2027. Benarrabá being fairly remote, there will be little opportunities to leave the region during your season here. Don't worry, there is always something going on in the pueblo and the pueblos around are lovely to discover (some can be seen by going on a hike!)
- Spring season (April 1st to July 7th 2027)
- Autumn season (Sept 10th to Dec 10th 2027)

Some of the activities:
- Weekends: Doing the check-in/check-out of colivers, joining an activity, giving a tour of the pueblo, houses and coworking space to the newcomers, etc.
- Monday: doing the final check-ins and pueblo/house tours, planning the mandatory weekly family meeting and leading it.
- Tuesday-Friday: Joining some of the pueblo activities; bridging gaps between the people of the pueblo who might need help and the colivers and vice-versa; helping art residencers being in contact with the right people; helping people settle in; participating in cooking a family dinner, etc.
- Organizing events with the pueblo.
- Assisting the coliving manager when they need help.

Rules

**rules:**
- High degree of autonomy. Comfortable taking ownership of daily operations.
- High level of Spanish & English as many colivers don't speak Spanish and almost no one in the pueblo speaks English.
- Comfortable with complexity, conflict resolution and life in a rural context.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with the Coliving Manager and the founder in a transparent and trust-based relationship.
