LOVE AND EDUCATE FOR THE FUTURE is a social and educational project that works to offer learning, development, and well-being opportunities to children in our community in Las Galeras, Samaná (Dominican Republic).
We are seeking committed volunteers, with initiative and willingness to contribute their knowledge, skills and time to improve our environment.
In this construction and maintenance volunteer program, participants will collaborate in improving the school facilities, creating safe, beautiful and suitable spaces for learning and play.
Some of the tasks will include:
Small construction and repair works.
Painting and renewal of walls and spaces.
Construction and repair of fences.
Repair and refurbishment of huts.
Gardening, cleaning and improvement of outdoor spaces.
Construction of playgrounds and educational materials inspired by Montessori methodology.
Creation of recreational and educational spaces for children.
Schedules may be adjusted according to tasks and the weekly plan.
Activities will always be carried out in coordination with the project leaders.
Volunteers must respect rest periods and follow safety instructions during activities.
To ensure good coexistence and the proper functioning of the project, all volunteers must commit to:
