It's a paradise full of beautiful people, locals, as well as travellers. Had an amazing experience, there's always something to do and I'm grateful for everyone I met there🫶 The workload is as agreed and it's definitely not a difficult job, mostly helping at the bar or taking food orders. Also a great place to improve your spanish:)

Loved my experience at the hostel! All staff and volunteers were super welcoming and willing to take the time to stop and have a chat with you and include you in all aspects of life there. Everyone was really patient and helpful when it came to speaking Spanish, and it was a great opportunity to practise. The work itself is very straightforward. You can have shifts in the bar or cafe, if your Spanish is good, some volunteers can also have the option to work in the reception as well.

I had an amazing time at Costeño! I worked 6 hours a day at the bar with 2 days of a week. The staff is so welcoming and you meet so many guests along with other volunteers. There's events everyday and towns close by to explore. The hostel is incredible with a pool, beach and delicious food. One of my favorite volunteer experiences so far!

Volunteering at the hostel for 3 weeks was unforgettable. The team treated me with respect and warmth, made me feel at home, and kept communication clear. It was my first time living right in front of the ocean (yes, even the cold showers became part of the learning). I grew a lot, met incredible people, gained a new perspective on life, and made friendships I’ll carry forever. I truly recommend this experience to anyone who wants good vibes, community, and real growth.

I had an amazing time at the hostel. Honestly, I loved every day and moment of it. Because you're at a beautiful beach and close to the jungle, you can easily attach to the amazing nature. With a variety of events every night (party, live music, karaoke, danceclass), you will also never feel bored or lonely. I met amazing people during my stay; both Colombians and internationals, which made me feel like I became part of life there. The work was easy and fun, the communication was clear. Would definitely recommend.

Working at the bar in Costeño Beach Hostel was a great experience! The place is absolutely stunning and the people who work there are almost exclusively locals from the coast. The volunteers were a lovely bunch too. Meeting them and getting to know them was the best part of the experience. The work itself is not difficult but it gets a bit repetitive to mainly wash glasses and clean tables for six hours a day. I would have liked to be more involved in making cocktails and learn a bit that way. The food was very good, the volunteer dorm was a bit too humid though. Still: highly recommended!

The hostel felt like home away from home from the moment I got there. The staff and other volunteers were amazing, the food was delicious, I felt safe the entire time, and the discounts were super nice! I would recommend this experience to anyone! ❤️

The hostel is a very welcoming place. The team members are all kind and helpful locals from santa marta, medellin, etc. Everyone is happy to help you learn Spanish. If you are quite new to Spanish, you don't need to feel like you'll be left out of conversations or social opportunities. Also the food and the accom is great Thanks for the time here guys 💛
