At Puerto Alto Hostel we invite you to experience a cultural exchange while you learn how a hostel operates in the Colombian Caribbean. We are looking for sociable, responsible and organized people who enjoy interacting with travelers from different nationalities. The program contemplates up to 30 hours per week, a minimum of 2 days off, and a usual stay of 30 days. We offer accommodation, three daily meals and benefits at partner establishments, subject to availability.
You will support the front desk team in welcoming and guiding guests, handling check-in and check-out processes, basic reservation management, answering inquiries, information on services and experiences, and coordinating with other areas of the hostel.
The usual dedication is 6 hours daily, five days a week, with 2 days off. Shifts can be in the morning or in the afternoon and are scheduled according to operational needs. You will receive guidance from the team to develop your activities.
We are looking for punctual, kind, responsible people with an excellent service attitude. It is essential to maintain an appropriate personal presentation, provide clear and accurate information, respect guests' confidentiality, and take care of equipment and facilities.
It is not allowed to modify reservations, manage discounts, perform unauthorized charges, or make administrative decisions without the supervisor's approval.
Shifts must be respected, promptly communicate any news, and maintain good coordination with the team. It is mandatory to know and comply with Puerto Alto's internal policies.
