The work was enjoyable, and there was plenty of free time for surfing and other fun activities. We also had a great time together with the other volunteers and created many memorable experiences. I had an amazing time in the hostel! the work was really fair and clearly communicated. the work started at around 11 and depending on how many guest checked out, lasted for 2-3 hours. that felt really fair and afterwards we had enough time to surf and explore. with the bikes provided, it's easy to get to peniche to surf or grocery shop. i had a great group of volunteers (there's always 4) and they made the time unforgettable. thank you, i will be back :))

I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel. The work was as described and never felt overwhelming. Even tho we were a little bit more remote that never was a problem with the bicycles. The Hosts Nádia and Luis are great and always fair. The hostel felt more like a guest house but social non the less. I can only recommend it for anyone :)

I couldn't have imagined a better first volunteering experience! Portugal's natural beauty, the other volunteers and the hostel made my stay truly unique. The daily work was very reasonable, usually taking only 2–3 hours. Since volunteers are the only staff besides the owners, good teamwork is important. Nádia and Luis are very friendly and communicate well. The cosy rooms, beautiful surroundings and nearby sea make it perfect to unwind. There's always something going on in the evenings. I highly recommend the hostel to anyone wanting to experience the surfer lifestyle in Portugal

As this was my very first volunteering experience, I was a bit curious about how it would go, but everything turned out exactly as described beforehand! The daily routine mainly involved cleaning the rooms and houses, but thanks to how well-organized and structured everything was, the work was always relaxed and manageable. Nádia and Luis are fantastic hosts who create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

I had such a great time at the hostel and would definitely recommend it! From day one, I felt really welcome. Nádia and Luis create such a warm, friendly atmosphere that it immediately feels like home. The daily work mainly involves cleaning the rooms and houses. My time with Nadia and Luis had such a homey feel. I felt very supported and welcome. the work was very straightforward and fair, leaving plenty of time in the afternoon to enjoy the beach and surrounding areas. The area is very quiet but in a peaceful way which i appreciated. I recommend this experience :))

It's perfect if you are looking a place to relax. It's a very small town, very local and the beach in front of the hostel is beautiful. The hostel itself is very nice and Nadia and Luis are very kind. It's not a party hostel so if you're looking for that vibe I wouldn't recommend, also having no day off makes it hard to get to know more cities in Portugal and the owners are not flexible about it. Other than that was a good experience:)

Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience! Nádia is super nice, kind and welcoming! Also, becoming friends with the other volunteers has been so great! You will adapt to the work very quickly and the work hours are very fair, so you have a lot of free time to improve in surfing, explore and relax :) It was so much fun and I would highly recommend volunteering there!

I loved my time in the hostel!! Nádia is very very kind and i felt very welcomed by her. She always checked on us in the morning and recommended the best places to visit. The room is very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. The beach in front of the hostel is not good for surfing so you have to bike or uber to better spots. The other volunteers were great and you can meet a lot of different travelers stopping at the hostel. Work is really easy and can be done in max 2 hours. I really recommend this place for volunteering!!!
