I would highly recommend volunteering at BPS Hostel! The hours are more than reasonable, and West Asheville is such a fun place to explore. I'd recommend having a car or mode of transportation, though. Accommodation is comfortable and all amenities are provided. It's good experience to learn how a hostel works and also managing the day to day operations. Guests are nice and diverse. Other workers were super friendly. Highly recommend!

I signed on for a month because it was my first time using Worldpackers, so I wasn't sure if it would be a good fit for longer. After my first week, I was sad to learn that I couldn't extend my stay for another month! I love being at BP&S, and it was such a relaxing change of pace for me. The staff are all so welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. Spending time with the guests was amazing. I would definitely return whenever the stars align! Thank you Joe & team for an amazing

Joe and the staff were so friendly and helpful! I had a blast working and chatting with all of the unique characters and travelers who make up this beautiful wacky place :) There was plenty of down time to explore Asheville and the surrounding areas. I hope to return again, this hostel really felt like home.

The staff and Joe were incredible. The job itself was exactly what I signed up for. I think for me it was just tricky not having a car with me to get beyond Asheville.
