Everyone was very welcoming when I arrived, and I got the chance to know several of the "regulars" at the hostel. Host was out of country during my stay, but still communicative. He was fantastic in limiting my work to 3 days per week, with 4 days off to travel. All tasks were housekeeping, and generally straightforward. I was incredibly lucky to be in SLP for Feria de La Primavera and got to see amazing concerts with many people from the hostel.

Many other volunteers asked me about this project so I will be clear and honest: you will do cleaning and it will be so much work because you are alone in your shift (doesn't count with the manager), also be careful with the 💰 (they will tell you don't say to the owner, so be careful) and there is another volunteer who is not doing anything so you should be aware about that you will work more hours than try offered, so cheers and good luck

We feel very sad to leave this review. Specially, since we write several times to this person to see if it was all ok at work and he never say anything until the last days and then now. While you are alone during your shift, all tasks are scattered through the day so everyone helps. To give you an example, if one where to do all tasks non-stop, it should take you half a day only. Even less time during covid-times, like it was this case. Now that tourism is revamping, our cleaning lady is coming back also to help.
To those who read this, we encourage you to check our reviews in other booking sites to see the quality of the hostel.

The owner, not only cares about his hostel but also the volunteers and guests. the hostel was awesome! Beyond what I could ask for the experience. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Volunteering at the hostel was a joy. The hostel itself has a great location and satisfactory ameneties all around. The owner, Alex, was friendly and helpful when I had questions about anything. The list of daily tasks is always organized and expectations are always clear. I would recommend the hostel to anyone traveling to SLP.

Estoy muy feliz de haber elegido el hostel para hacer mi cuarto voluntariado 🙌 La ciudad es bellísima y muy tranquila. El hostal está súper bien ubicado y Ricardo fue super amable conmigo y las tareas en el hostel son muy sencillas. Ha sido mi primer voluntariado, y no podría haber sido mejor. Las comunicaciones con Alex fueron siempre rápidas y resolutivas. Es una persona flexible. El haber voluntariado los 3 días del fin de semana, me permitió descansar 4 y recorrer más lugares. Además, así he coincidido con huéspedes habituales,con los que acabas haciendo comunidad. Y, por supuesto, conocer a Elia. Esta mujer hace que tanto los voluntarios como los huéspedes nos sintamos como en casa, es acogedora y está en todo. Y me falta Andrés, siempre pendiente del huésped y colaborando con los voluntarios. Una gran experiencia

Súkha es un lugar acogedor donde circulan personas fascinantes de todas partes del mundo. Mi experiencia fue mayormente positiva y la recomiendo a quien quiera conocer esa linda parte de México que es el centro de la Ciudad de San Luis y a sus amables habitantes. Abrazo a Alex, el anfitrión, a Elia y a Andrés, quienes me recibieron con respeto y me hicieron sentir cómodo en todo momento.

Que experiencia tan bonita, el lugar es calido, cómodo y muy tranquilo, las actividades son claras y nada pesadas, aun en turno tienes la oportunidad de socializar con los huespedes y estar muy tranquilo. Gracias a todo el equipo del hostel❤ en definitiva volveremos

Hermosa experiencia, aquí en el hostel hostal! Las tares son muy fáciles de hacer..las horas están bien dividida entre semana, así que tienes el tiempo de visitar ese lugar, Xilitla es un verdadero Pueblo mágico!! Hay mucha Naturaleza al rededor y merece la pena verlos! Alex el Dueño a sido muy amable y disponible al igual también el encargado del hostel del hostel de Xilitla. Han sido muy acogedores!! Recomiendo esta experiencia.

Es un lugar increíble! Un hostal muy tranquilo para sentirse como en familia. Los horarios están organizado de una forma en que puedes tener tiempo para conocer la región que es hermosa. Son respetuosos con los tiempos de trabajo y muy muy amables! Conocí personas de muchos lugares y vienen muchos mexicanos también entonces es perfecto para conocer la cultura local.
