The hostel nomad is a good place. You will meet people from different countries and practice your English and even other languages. Schedule is flexible so you can enjoy everything DC has to offer. Location is great, 2 blocks away from the metro station and a short walk to the Capitol They are really welcoming and will help you if you need it. It was a great summer experience

Everything at DuoHousing Hostel was as agreed and even more!! I highly recommend people that would like to volunteer in Washington D.C. or USA in general to consider DuoHousing Hostel as the owner is a very energetic and social person that knows 5 languages. True polyglot. The staff are friendly as well and the hostel is clean, tidy, provides breakfast and has more perks that are stated in the volunteer opportunity (always sweet to get more than what you bargained for, right?). 10/10 Worldpackers first experience. Questions? Ask me on my travel IG account in my profile 😎
