Late Evening Welcoming Host
The experience
Our hostel has been voted the best hostel in Sweden repeatedly by our guests. You would be a part of our team. Function as a host, welcoming our guests late evening. Show them the facilities, hang out with guests and make sure everything is alright at the hostel. You will also make sure that some essential areas in the hostel look alright for the morning, it includes 1.5 hours cleaning. We prefer if you could stay at least 3 months or more.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Night Shift:
Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.
Party Promoter:
Help organise and promote parties and social activities.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
What you get
2 days off per week
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Free Events:
Get free entrance for the best events in town.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Requirements
Fluent English
Over 21 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
What's not included
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Program Details
We will do a one week training with you. Go through our hostel, company guidelines and get to know each other. We ask you to be available at least 3 months. We provide accommodation and food allowance for you to cook your own meals.
We want to create a win win situation - and we get great feedback from our volunteers.

Activities & Shift
You would work 4 shifts a week, so you would have 2 days free during the week to explore Stockholm. :) Plus on top of the 4 shifts, if you wish to participate in helping out with inhouse fun activities, we are flexible.
Rules
We expect you to show up on time on your shifts and complete them.
You would need to respect our hostel rules.
Living in the Hostel and helping the Hostel you will be an representing the Hostel - meaning the guest will see you as staff and we expect you to have good work ethics and good behaviour conduct towards other guests.
You would need to have your own travel insurance.
