Help us at our hostel in incredible Italy
We have a few volunteers staying at the hostel to socialise with the backpackers and help them make the most of their holiday and get the goods reviews that our hostel relies on! We also require help in reception and cleaning. Equally important is being able to control the noise levels at night to avoid complaints from our neighbours.
But we'll mostly ask volunteers to take care of activities ( cooking dinner, game night etc)

This fall/winter we'd like our volunteers to focus mainly on activities and promotion of the hostel and local culture. Low season is less busy, which means that we have to care more about our guests, to create a family atmosphere and offering options to spend time at the hostel if it's a rainy day, or if there not many people around.
Our usual activities are family dinners and game nights, so we ideally look for someone who enjoy to cook and entertain people, play guitar and that sort of stuff.
Part of the duties could be also promoting the hostel through social media and creating contents
Activities & Shift
beside the social part of the work, we may need some help in the reception assisting our guests and help them planning their time in our area and some help with cleaning occasionally
The help required is not difficult, but we expect responsible people; if you have ever been in a hostel, you know that sometimes if you're around people ask your help or simply want to chat although you're not on shift; keep it in mind and don't forget to be polite and laid back ( I know it's stressing sometimes but that's hostel life!)
We're not a party hostel and we're located in a residential building, so we have to pay attention to the noise especially in the evening/night
