The hostel is in a very nice place, it has a swimming pool where you can relax and meet other travelers! The hosts are very nice people who try to make you feel like home especially Felipe! They also make you lunch and they are great chefs! It was my first volunteer experience but I really recommend this one! You can enjoy Quito (after a 30min) bus ride and the hostel is in a very calm and relaxed area !

Hostal Colibrí is a really nice place, quiet, in the nature, the place has a swimming pool, fishes swimming in a little lake. My room was clean and comfortable, they (Felipe and Tere) are generous and kind people, made me feel like old friends. Highly recommended. That was my first Worldpackers experience, this community is a powerful tool to travel.

Good things: Felipe is a really nice and kind person. The “room” for volunteers, in my opinion, is disrespectful. It's dirty, with mattress so thin that even putting 2 together you could feel the bed. The place is above the reception, where also happens events for the hotel, so, without warning we stayed up until 3am with really loud music, at least a warning would be nice. The meals included are confusing, you could have anything from the kitchen (messy one) but we were questioned about eating a bread one morning. The activities went fine and as agreed but I don't feel it was a fair trade.

I totally recommend this experiences.Carlos was such a good host, he was flexible since de beginning. I took some extra day in Colombia and he was super ok with it. The job is really fun and a great opportunity to learn. The hostel is comfortable and a great place to relax. The staff is really nice and friendly, they make me feel home since the first day. I am totally thankful for such an amazing experience!

Hostería Colibrí Desde el primer día que llegué todos fueron lindos, el lugar es muy acogedor, su hostería es hermosa y pude ver los mejores atardeceres. Doña Mercy fue muy amable desde el primer día, al igual que Doña Tere siempre dispuesta a enseñar. Y sobre todo voy a extrañar a la hermosa Valentina 🐈❤️ Volvería a este hermoso lugar ✨

Hostería Colibrí es un lugar muy hermoso y tranquilo. Hay siempre bastante trabajo, pero recordar que uno como voluntario va a eso, a colaborar y apoyar en el trabajo. La familia muy acogedora, gracias a Tere que trabajamos codo a codo siempre. Hubo una buena disposición para enseñar y cocinan muy delicioso también 😅 Espero volver en alguna oportunidad. Linda experiencia 🫂🇪🇨

Desde el primer dia me trataron increible, siempre con respeto y amabilidad. Las tareas siempre fueron bien explicadas y respetando los horarios establecidos. Fue un placer ayudar y compartir el dia a dia con el staff.

Agradezco a la Familia Trujillo del the hostel Airport porque tuve una experiencia maravillosa. Pude realizar el voluntariado en la cocina , en arreglo de cuartos y atendiendo a los huéspedes. Son una familia muy atenta y pendiente de uno. Muchas gracias de verdad el lugar es hermoso..

En general yo tuve una buena experiencia. Positivo - El lugar cumple bien con lo acordado, te pagan horas extras, la gente si tiene buena onda en general. Srª Tere es muy amable y siempre nos ayuda a los voluntarios. Negativo: el hostel tiene 5 anfitriones, lo que me dificulta escribir una reseña general. Un lugar familiar, aún que te delimita hacer algunas cosas en tu día libre. Las tareas no son muy claras, falta organización y saber quién está a cargo. Nuestra habitación es una falta de respeto, no hay seguridad y está sobre la cocina donde hay ruidos desde las 7am

Demetrio fue un buen voluntario agradecemos su ayuda. En la calificación debíamos poner 4 estrellas y tuvimos una mala comunicación y pusimos por error 2 pero el se merece 4 estrellas, hizo un buen voluntariado. Hacia las tareas muy bien incluso hacia más de lo que se le pedía su buena energía y amabilidad con los huésped hizo que una huésped nos ponga una excelente calificación en booking.
