I absolutely loved this experience, the family is lovely and super outgoing. Me and my girlfriend had a lot of fun working and helping and in our free time we went mushroom picking, did boat riding and kissing moose. Work was very different every day and loved every bit of it. One of my favorite things that we all did as a family was to go to the hockey games of the local team IKO Oskarshamn :) Thank you so much to this amazing family !!!

My first time in Sweden was a very authentic experience with the Deigelmanns, they went above and beyond to show us what it is to be Swedish; taking us to Hockey games, kayak/camping/sailing trips, making a Swedish princess cake & traditional Swedish dinner, and always providing fika! The homemade wine & mead isn't bad either ;) Work matches each volunteers capabilities and varies with the weather. I unfortunately was sick during a short period of my stay and the family provided medicine, days off to recover, and excellent honey from their bees! I'll be forever grateful for their hospitality❤️

This was my first volunteering experience and quite honestly, it was beyond my expectations. Hein, Astrid and the boys were the best! They were super welcoming, keen to learn about different cultures, utterly kind and fun to be with. I hated having to leave a bit early, knowing that I am totally going to miss that dreamy landscape, hiking trips, dinner time jokes, Astrid's delicious homemade bread and countless other wonderful stuff! I am also grateful to Hein for teaching me fishing and wine making. Can't describe it with any more words, see it for yourself :)

Astrid and Hein were amazing hosts! They are some of the most welcoming and generous people I have ever met and the time I spent with them was a blast. They were wonderful communicators, and the work we did was very manageable, educational, and even fun. On off days they took us exploring or camping which was the perfect way to enjoy the area. We had the best time with them, miss them dearly, and recommend them for your next adventure!

The farm was one of the greatest experiences i have ever had, I met some amazing people and learnt so much about making bread, honey, gardening. Some near death encounters kept me on my toes and helped make the best memories. Milla (their dog) made my experience 20x better , i will miss her so much. Watching the football in the evening, or watching heated rivalry was always a laugh. My favourite part was definitely the kayaking trip across the baltic. Camping on a remote island really helped me find peace and gratitude. I would highly recommend this place, you won't regret it 🫶

This was my 2nd world packers experience and it was nothing short of amazing! Hein and Astrid were wonderful hosts, welcoming me into their family from day 1 with jokes and a fun time! The tasks were simple and easy, and I learned so much about gardening, bees, and Swedish culture! The kayaking trip was so much fun, truly a highlight of my travels! You will never find yourself bored as there is many things to explore and see on their property and around the town. I cherish my time in Sweden so much and I\'m already counting down the days until I come back!!

My experience at the farm was nothing short of fantastic! Even though I was the only volunteer for 3 of the 4 weeks I stayed there, I never once felt lonely or bored. The Diegelmanns are incredibly kind and fun people who made me feel at home right from the start. My tasks were varied and the working hours flexible, with lots of time spent outside. In my free time I was able to explore the beautiful surrounding nature and the hosts make a great effort to take their volunteers on trips and show them what life in Sweden is really like. I absolutely recommend them - can't wait to go back :)

For a first Worldpackers expericence, it was beyond my expectations!! The entire family made me feel welcomed from the first day. Between the perfectly prepared meals, card games, movie nights, and walks in the forest, I felt right at home. I enjoyed the tasks, mostly gardening, as well as the flexibility we had with our schedule.
I'll never forget the kayak trip along the coast, it was truly magical. Thank you for this incredible experience!! :)

Astrid, Hein & the boys make you feel right at home and welcome from the first second. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the farm, especially the various gardening tasks and the hours we spend outside in beautiful Swedish nature. I will never forget the shared laughter, card game evenings, delicious meals & peaceful moments :) One of my absolute highlights was the kajak trip we did with Hein where we explored the region even more!! I already miss the Family & all their lovely animals <3

This was my first world packers experience and to put it simply it was perfect. The effort made from the host so you have an unforgettable stay is fantastic. From the food to the extra activities they put on for you the whole thing was a dream.
