We are a social enterprise based in Hai Phong. We are looking for volunteers to help us our in current projects - Teaching English for mid- income adults and children - Working with local volunteer group - Option to teach English at the local Orphanage ( 2 times per week) - Currently profits from the Center are used to fund local projects such as supporting the dioxin victim village by visiting them bearing gifts or food and some money.
14 hours of help per week
Teaching Languages: Give language lessons to guests or local community.
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm: Be ready to meet people while staying in a shared dorm.
Lunch: Free lunch is served y'all, get yours!
Dinner: Have your free dinner before going to bed.
Free Laundry: There's a special place where all the clothes get cleaned for free.
Pick Up: No worries! Get a free ride to get to our place.
Language lessons: Learn or improve your language skills.
Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Between 18 and 60 years old
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Teaching English and a organizing lesson plan for your students is your main job.
Depending on your skills and interests, potentially you could get involved in organizing extra-curricular activities such as art, drama, music, sports...
Interactions with the friendly- students
Work with your teaching assistant to make lesson plans for the students.
If you can commit to 2 months of work, you will be rewarded with a stipend of 1 to 2 million VND per month for your commitment. The average cost of a meal is 20,000 VND
TYPES OF CLASSES: Special Communication Class (for students needing English to travel or for working purposes)
Kindergarten (Children ages 3 to 7)
Junior Class ( ages 7 to 12)
Starter class ( Ages 20 to 35)
Orphanage class (ages from 5 to 30)
AGE OF STUDENTS: 3 - 35,
ACCOMMODATION: Free double bed in a shared room with a maximum of 6 people.
and 2 meals provided a day
LENGTH OF PLACEMENT: From 2 weeks
Flexible ( preferably on Friday and Saturday, never arrive on Sunday as Sunday is a day off for everyone at the centre and we will usually be gone on a day trip, exploring somewhere.
