Had a wonderful time at the host. I quickly became a part of the team and learned so much about not only web and video development but also about how to run a hotel. Since I had a nutrition background David accommodated my interests and let me be involved in some of the food aspects of the lodge. I really appreciated that. The team and everyone in town is super nice and welcoming. I can not wait to go back!

I had an amazing time at the host! The staff members are so friendly and generous, the work of writing articles is fun, the home cooked food is delicious, the dogs are sweet, and the location is great. Also, Mindo is very beautiful and peaceful, so it was a nice place to relax and spend time with nature.

This trip has been amazing! David (the owner) and the other staff members are very friendly and accommodating! I stayed in staff housing attached to the dining area, and enjoyed meals with the staff (including dancing with the cooks in the kitchen). David was very appreciative of my work on the website and photography for the Lodge, and took me on some of the adventure tours in the area. The town of Mindo is safe to walk in, even at night, and there are many fun things to do in the area. I would recommend this place for travelers who are up for anything!

My experience at the lodge was spectacular. From the first day, the person in charge, the owner and the whole team welcomed me with a lot of kindness and warmth, making me feel at home. I greatly value the creative freedom they gave me at all times. They trusted in my work, without pressures or demands, which allowed me to flow, be inspired by the beautiful environment of Mindo and achieve a result I am very proud of. It is a place surrounded by nature, with people with enormous hearts. I highly recommend this volunteering to travelers!
