Experience Nepali life in small orphanage in Kathmandu valley


The experience

Namaste. Im Lila from Nepal. I live in Kathmandu and run a small orphanage with the objective to provide housing, food, clothing, education and medical care in a loving home. If you are interested to help us as a volunteer you are most welcome to visit us. You will have your own room in our house and share meals with us. I would like you to help the children with their homework, to play with them and to do sportive or artistic activities.


What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Additional fee required

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
