The Exchange

We are in need of potential people that are willing to share with us their skills, knowledge, experience and ideas with our people in Uganda. Volunteers will be responsible to train our children in different sports activities, teaching our children English and Math, handcraft, music, dance & drama ,physical education,computer training. Volunteers will also participate in building different buildings like classrooms,latrines, teachers houses.


What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Child Care: Get a new purpose in life educating and caring for children

Teaching Sports: Organize and teach different sports and activities.

Teaching Languages: Give language lessons to guests or local community.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: Have a private room to chill and relax just by yourself.

Shared Dorm: Be ready to meet people while staying in a shared dorm.

Team Dorm: You're part of a team! Get to know them in your dormitory.

Breakfast: Get your free breakfast, the most important meal of the day.

Lunch: Free lunch is served y'all, get yours!

Dinner: Have your free dinner before going to bed.

Free Laundry: There's a special place where all the clothes get cleaned for free.

Bikes at your disposal: Hop on my bike, baby! Free to use bicycles.

Pick Up: No worries! Get a free ride to get to our place.

Dance classes: Rock your body! Join our dance classes.

Language lessons: Learn or improve your language skills.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.


Requirements

Beginner English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Be from outside Uganda


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

Volunteers pay 300$/2weeks,400$/3 weeks and 500$/4 weeks for feeding,laundry services accommodation, airport pick up and drop back.


Activities & Shift

Activities are done for five hours a day from Monday to Friday. Weekends are free days for volunteers to go for tourism.
