I had a wonderful time! Definitely worth taking part in. The host and staff are great and friendly, the stay is very central and you can reach everything by foot. The job is very easy and the hours are respected, sometimes you get to even leave earlier if there’s not much to do. Wonderful island and experience overall. Would 100% recommend it to everyone.

I was very well received by the team, everyone very friendly and respectful. The work starts at 6 a.m., but on most days it ends after coffee, around 9 a.m. The tasks are calm and easy to learn: organizing the coffee, clearing tables, delivering orders, and receiving guests. Check-in requires a little more attention, but there is guidance. It is important to be comfortable speaking English for groups. The accommodations are great: a single room, private bathroom, and a desk for work. The coffee is delicious and plentiful! I had plenty of flexibility to take days off and explore the islands. I highly recommend it!

My experience at Hotel o eco lodge, in San Cristóbal, was amazing. From the start I was very warmly welcomed and I felt like part of the family. The hours and tasks were respected exactly as agreed. I practiced English and Spanish, met locals and travelers from several countries, and learned a lot about the culture, sustainability and the preservation of Galápagos. It was an experience of great exchange, learning and connection with nature. I am very grateful for everything I experienced and I recommend the experience.
