I had the best time in Faro! Nuno and the staff were incredibly welcoming, flexible, and easy-going, making me feel at home from the very beginning. We worked in five different guesthouses, so no two days were the same. The work was straightforward and always filled the required four hours each day. After work, we usually went to the beach or joined other activities, like cooking and sharing meals with the staff and fellow volunteers. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is open-minded, enjoys meeting new people, and doesn't mind cleaning.

Nuno was great and easy going, I was fortunate enough to meet so many amazing people from around the world and learned so much from them. Faro is a beautiful city but there is not much to do in the city itself after going to the beach, the mall, the port, etc, a couple times. Overall would recommend this experience for anyone who is looking to work online, do school online, etc as work hours are not long and well respected and it is a very relaxed and comfortable community/group.

Me and my friend were working on tech part of guesthouse maintenance and had great experience! Host is very welcoming and open person, was a blast to connect with him.
Job schedule was flexible in every possible way and faro itself is very comfortable place to be.
I would recommend anybody who wants to travel, be on a seashore and spend less - to volunteer here!

I had a really good time in the guest house, I Wish i could stay more but changes are part of Life. Nuno was a really nice host and he made me feel like at home. There was good communication for the tasks ti accomplish that often we reviewed together to achieve the best results for both. All the staff team was super and they are really sociable as long as you know them. I recomend the guest house to everyone specially for the Amazing the guest house. Enjoy Algarve and Faro if you come here ;)

I spent september working in the guest house. During that time I met lot of new people and made friends. Tasks that I worked with were nice. The location of this hostel was good and it was easy to explore new places on my free days. I would reccomend this experience!

This was a horrible experience. You are treated like a slave instead of a volunteer. I didn't even meet the horrible and bitter host, Nuno, until my last day. He was extremely rude and mean because I decided to leave 1 day early. The housekeeper, Adriana, complained about everything and talked badly about the volunteers to others. I caught her several times talking about others and it made me feel uncomfortable. The volunteer dorms and bathrooms are ridiculously dirty and they don't provide a single meal for you. I promise you will not enjoy this experience at all.
