Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit im Gästehaus, die Aufgaben sind einfach und die Arbeitszeiten werden eingehalten. Das Personal ist auch freundlich! Die Stadt ist klein, daher ist es gut, wenn du einen ruhigen Ort suchst. Wenn der Plan ist, nach Beirut zu gehen, wisse, dass du etwas mehr für den Transport ausgeben wirst. Außerdem arbeitest du den ganzen Nachmittag, so dass die Zeit, die du zum Herumlaufen hast, an deinen freien Tagen mehr sein wird. Insgesamt hatte ich hier eine schöne Erfahrung. Alles Gute für Hicham, Ana und das gesamte Personal, mit dem ich gearbeitet habe :)

Dies ist das erste Mal, dass ich mich bei Worldpackers ehrenamtlich engagiere, und mein erster Besuch im Libanon, und ich kann nicht ausdrücken, wie hilfreich und transformativ diese Erfahrung für mich war. Herr Hisham und das Personal sind unglaublich freundlich, und die Aufgaben waren flexibel, sodass ich den Libanon erkunden konnte, während ich mich vollständig meinen Freiwilligenaufgaben widmete. Ich empfehle diese Erfahrung jedem, der nach einem sinnvollen Abenteuer sucht.

This is my first experience with solo travel outside of the country, and I have to say, I couldn't have asked for a better host. He is a truly kindhearted man who goes above and beyond to be helpful. For anyone considering a trip to Lebanon, I wholeheartedly recommend taking the opportunity to stay with him. It's been an enriching experience that I will always cherish!

For the record, Hicham is nice and respectful. Volunteering here was bad and I had a very uncomfortable and bizarre experience. The position I applied to was night shift reception/cleaning, I found myself working on a construction site with no proper equipment or tools. The shift was not as agreed and there was absolutely no work to be done on reception. One night a volunteer got hurt in the construction and Hicham got very mad and screamed at me he didn't want any more volunteers and that I could stay for free which was very awkward, so I left the next morning to avoid conflict and stress

Ergebnis: Seb stiehlt zwei Wochen kostenlos, indem er nur eine unvollständige Schicht leistet

It was my first Worldpackers experience, I enjoyed every single minute at the guest house, the place was amazing, the host is the best, the workers there were so nice, highly recommend 10/10.

The experience was 10/10. The host, Hicham is absolutely amazing. He took us to several day tours which were really fascinating. I would recommend everyone to visit the the guest house because it is absolutely beautiful. In a nutshell, the overall experience: A1!

Overall, my experience at the the guest house was great. Hicham did everything to make my stay comfortable and feel welcomed. Also he gave a lot of tips on where to go in Lebanon and adjusted my work schedule so that I can visit more places in Lebanon. The work was not easy but I never worked extra hours and when the tasks were hard I was allowed to work less. The hotel and facilities were very nice and the room was very spacious and had everything you need. In conclusion, I totally recommend the the guest house if you want to explore the country and learn about the guest house culture.

For starters a beautiful place in an amazing country! This place is filled with so many different opportunities to help out and build for the further development of the infrastructure. The host and all the guest house people I've met make you feel at home. A healthy balance between freedom and tasks, also very flexible. You get what you give. Would definitely recommend.
