I'm so glad that I got Erika as my first Worldpackers host! She is an absolutely amazing person and makes every moment at her hostel both fun and cozy! I enjoyed my work as a volunteer, especially interacting with guests and getting to hear so many stories. The hostel was a lovely place and almost made it difficult to leave to do everything staying in Belfast has to offer. Not only is Belfast a very interesting city to explore, including the botanic gardens right around the corner, but it's very well connected to the rest of Northern Ireland making it great for exploring. Thanks heaps Erika!

I was so lucky as to work as a part of Erika's team, I have had the opportunity to meet many lovely individuals, and experience the wonderful city of Belfast through Erika's superb recommendations. I would highly recommend this to other volunteers. This experience, being my first, has made me excited to travel in the future.

My time at the hostel was nothing short of perfect! The hostel itself is incredibly cozy and Erika does so much to make you feel welcomed and like it is really your home to settle into. The work was easy and exactly as agreed, Erika was flexible with moving around days off if I needed to travel for an interview and she would even offer cover parts of our shifts so we could go to an event if it was in the middle of two shifts. She is kind, caring, generous and truly the perfect person to be running a hostel. I learned so much about Belfast and NI in my short month here, tysm!

Volunteering at Erika's hostel has been a massive highlight during my travels. The hours were respected and flexible, tasks during shift are fair and easy enough that I rarely felt like I was working, and the guests were all so lovely!!
The hostel itself is homely and vibrant, I was able to really tune into hobbies/crafts I haven't had time to do in a while. An amazing place to balance sightseeing Belfast/surrounding areas while also having enough downtime to read, write, watch shows, or whatever else you enjoy doing!!
Thank you so much for the opportunity, Erika! <3

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it didn't disappoint, Erika and Sonya (another long term volunteer) are some of the loveliest people I've ever met and made it feel so warm and welcoming. The hostel itself is well decorated and genuinely feels like being at home. I got comfortable super quickly. The work is pretty simple and Erika made it clear that if I had any specific plans for the city, she was more than happy to accommodate. Million percent would recommend xx

Erika made me feel super welcome from the minute I arrived in Belfast! I honestly was super blown away with how homely it felt and how easy it was to get around. I would definitely recommend to other travellers especially when the hostel is mostly woman only it made me feel super safe. Get to know the guests that are coming through!

Absolutely amazing experience! I got so lucky that this was my first worldpacker experience because Erika and the other volunteers were so kind. I feel like I really made some wonderful friends. The work is easy, but I still felt like I learned some new skills along the way. Everything was so cozy and welcoming, not only would I recommend this place to other worldpackers, but even if you're just looking for a hostel in Belfast. Belfast has so much to offer as a city, and this experience was in such a nice location. Erika is the perfect host. I highly recommend this experience!

10/10, I absolutely loved my time at the hostel, the month just flew by! Erika is an amazing host, going above and beyond for her guests and volunteers. There is tons of free time to explore the city and for day trips around NI. The hostel is not a party hostel and so its a very calm relaxing place Once you do your training shifts you are often left to do your tasks but Erika is always quick to respond to messages if you have questions or need help. 😊
