I really enjoyed my time at the guesthouse the hostel. The work was easy and the hours were also good. It takes a few days to get used to everything but afterwards you'll have the best time! Mario & Eva always helped and we're taking good care of me. The location is perfect since it's super close to the dome and Hondori. It's a super nice experience if you want to immerse yourself into the city, its history and food culture

I really recommend here if you are trying to live the hostel for a bit. Hiroshima is a not-too-busy city, also close to river and bicycle-friendly, so it's a great place to live. Santiago guesthouse is in the city centre, so it's really convenient to get everything you need. But most important, the people here are so warm and friendly. I built some really good connections here. Gracias Mario, Eva, y todos! Me ha encantado quedarme aqui! The work is chill, and you will have plenty of time exploring Hiroshima or hanging out with other volunteers. (You will definitely learn some spanish too!)

I had such a great month at the Santiago Guesthouse! The accommodation is very central and soo comfortable! I loved the rooftop view and the comfortable and inviting common space area. Everything was very clean. But the people is really what made it so special! Mario and Eva are two great and caring managers who made me feel very welcome from the beginning! I had sooo much fun with the other volunteers, socializing every day and making connections! If we were just chilling inside or if we went out, it was always good and fun and I will definitely miss everyone 🤍 Can only recommend!

I had a great time at Santiago Hiroshima. The staff are incredibly friendly and I met some really nice volunteers while there, and we all had a blast with nights out or little events together. The location is also really good as its near public transport, the main shopping street, and convenience stores.
The work itself was reasonable and easy to complete, and it was nice having 3 days off a week. I definitely recommend this place as it felt very cozy.

Santiago Guesthouse is perfectly located within Hiroshima, basically a 5-10 minute walk to the shopping street, atomic dome & museum, or public transport! Also right next to a conbini and the best udon noodle shop ever! The staff and other volunteers I got to work with were lovely, always helpful and kind. The work was pretty easy most days, and even when it go busier with golden week, everyone works hard to make sure we finish on time. I'd definitely come back if I visit Hiroshima again!

The tasks were simple and easy to manage, and I always felt comfortable and well taken care of. It truly felt like home. Hiroshima is also a very interesting and comfortable city to live in. Santiago felt more like a home instead of just a volunteer place! Eva and Mario are great managers that made me feel really comfortable from day 1, and were there for me whenever I needed them. The work is very easy and fast to do, and the schedule is always respected. The area around the hostel is really good, and there's a lot of places close to it, like supermarkets, malls and restaurants. Also, I was very lucky with all the other volunteers I worked with, and I'm happy to call some of them good friends:) 100% recommended!

I stayed at Santiago Guesthouse for a month with my partner. We both had a great time and met some lovely people along the way. The guesthouse location is perfect and you can pretty much walk everywhere. The working hours are easy and minimal, leaving you with lots of free time to explore. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to spend more time in beautiful, peaceful Hiroshima!
