I had a lovely experience volunteering at the hostel in Sofia. The host and manager were friendly, welcoming, and easy to work with. The tasks were manageable, and we had plenty of flexibility during the low season. When we had to leave earlier than planned due to an unexpected family situation, the host was very understanding and supportive! I would definitely recommend this place to travellers looking for a relaxed and friendly environment!!

We had a great experience at the hostel. The host and manager were very kind, easygoing and easy to deal with, and the working hours were relaxed. As it was low season, there was not much to do, and they gave us plenty of freedom when there was nothing to work on. We had to leave earlier than planned due to an unexpected family situation, and the host was very supportive, understanding and compassionate. He also helped with some food, which was very useful. We definitely recommend this place for travellers looking for a quiet stay and time for personal projects.

If you like calm and slow environment with lots of natural and relaxed work them come to this hostel in Sofia. It's very central close to central station only by two metro station to Han Kubrat. Two orange one female name Mika and the other male Dex-star will greet you and snuggle with you and play. Both are very social and excited. Shifts are very simple and easy to do during volunteer work

I absolutely recommend volunteering at the hostel!!! It was my first Worldpackers experience and they had very clear schedule and responsibilities. The tasks aren't too difficult and most of the shift is watching over reception. They are flexible with the schedule and give you 2 days off in a row, so I was able to visit nearby cities like Plovdiv and Thessaloniki on my time off. There are a couple other volunteers at the same time, so it's easy to make friends and feel at home! The accommodation is comfortable with a private room for volunteers, nice spacious bathroom, and equipped kitchen.

Volunteering at the hostel was a great experience! The manager is incredibly kind and caring and helps whenever needed (thank you <3) They respect the work schedule. I appreciated the clear and good communication and flexibility. The hostel is quite calm and peaceful place, it feels just like visiting your grandparents. I felt like home here and would return anytime. The location a bit further from the centrum was perfect for having more chilled stay, and the surrounding neighbourhoods were interesting to explore. Overall would recommend!

I loved this place! And Alex and Bartle are just very reliable and charming people. The place it's not as far as they say, maybe 15 minutes on metro and you are again in Serdika (centre of Sofia). The hostel it's modest but extremely calm, chill and clean. I'd recommend this place 😁

Great place to volunteer, the tasks were easy to accomplish and the owners are very nice. Since the location is close to a subway station, you can go to the city center within 15 minutes. I would definitely come back in the future!

I was there during the off season so isn't many travelers, for poople who are stay in the hostel usually their long term stay but their nice in general, the team and Alex are helpful, unfortunately that i have to point it out regarding the bedbugs issue in the hostel that i have got bitten overacross body, they did pet control after reported but it should be do something in terms of prevent this issue, in addition that they will put the guest in the volunteers room if the guest room is fully booked, it would be more clear if indicate in world packer profile

It was a good experience. Unfortunately, I had personal issues and had to leave earlier than the due date. The host understood my situation, and we got along well

I ended up volunteering in a partner hostel and it was the best thing that could happen for my first experience. I'm very attached to my family and this was my first time away from home for so long and I found a family there. Nina is a real mom and the best soup-maker in Bulgaria! She's my second mom now and I'm thankful for all the love and memories I have, Dina is one of the sweetest person I met and Alex (both Alexs) are amazing too. The job is easy but with some details. In the first days might feel harder but it's really just the first days. Thank you for everything ❤️
