This was my first worldpackers experience and it was great! Alessio, Matteo & Martina were so lovely and accommodating. It was the slow season, so the work was very chill which left most of the day to go exploring Peschiera or surrounding towns and cities. With it being the slow season it was a bit harder to meet people, but I'm sure that's less of an issue in summer months :) Overall I'm very grateful I got to have this experience, and hopefully I'll go back to visit in the future!

My tasks mainly consisted of cleaning common spaces, helping at dinners at working at the bar. The hours were respected. It's a huge place but work wasn't excessive and it was understood when something was new to me and I had to learn it. the volunteers were staying at 10 person room with other guests. We were welcome to use food in the fridge and coffee and could use the guest kitchen as well. I am grateful that when I had a health emergency and had to shorten my stay there was not any problem with that

My stay at the hostel was an incredible first experience with world packers, and surpassed all expectations. Helping with breakfast is very straightforward and all tasks are explained well. With some time, you earn the autonomy to organize your schedule and tasks with the other volunteers and staff, that helps mage everything more efficient. I helped out with some dinners as well, but it highly depends on the guests and the season. I felt incredibly welcomed by all of the team, and I'm very thankful for all of their help and kindness. Highly recommend the experience. ❤️

I stayed for one month at Meet Hostel, and it was my first volunteering experience through Worldpackers. I felt very welcomed from the beginning, and the whole experience was really positive.
Peschiera del Garda is a great location, with many things to do in the city and nearby areas, all with easy and quick access.
I really enjoyed my time there and hope to have the opportunity to come back again in the future.
I definitely recommend this place to other volunteers.

Meet Garda Lake is a nice Hostel in a top location. Just a couple steps from Garda Lake and 18 minutes drive to the city of Verona. There are plenty of things to do, and amazing places to discover, you will have a perfect mix between trekking adventures, beach and nature as well a Italian culture and city life. According to the work, there are many tasks to do and lots of things to learn, it can become a bit hard during busy days when the hostel is full but you will always be supported. All in all it was a great experience, big thanks to Alessio, Matteo and all the Reception team :)

My experience was great. It’s such a nice hostel, also super social. I recommend if you’re extroverted. Tasks can be a little all over the place (bar, breakfast, cleaning kitchen/ rooms), and the hours are a bit longer than other worldpackers, but how good the hostel is and the location makes up for it. It’s a fast pace and can be stressful in high season, so being a hard worker is a plus. It’s a 7 minute walk to the lake/beach and a 10 minute walk to the grocery store. It’s a gorgeous area and there’s so much to see on the lake. Overall i had so much fun and am so grateful to everyone <3 :)

It was a good experience volunteering here, the people you meet are amazing. Sometimes the work can get heavy, but they always respect your working hours. Something super positive is that they give you good discounts on drinks at the bar. The people are very friendly when they are out of their working hours, because when they are working they can be very stressed and don't have the best attitude.
