The hostel is very central and everything is easily accessible. The work is very simple and usually done quickly, which means you have enough time to explore everything for the rest of the day. The people have all been quite friendly so far and it was easy to have a good chat. Only communication with the manager was sometimes difficult because he couldn't be reached very easily. Apart from that everything was great and we had a really nice time here :)

My experience at the hostel was amazing, we were a group of many volunteers which made the tasks super easy and straight forward. Just a couple hours of work and I had the rest of the day to explore Okinawa. The dormitory and shared areas are also very good.

My time at the hostel was one of my best in Japan. The accomodation is nice, location is great, volunteers were like family and the work is easy. Sho and TKO hosted dinner parties, arranged day trips and gave amazing recommendations. I feel like my Japanese improved a lot here because of them. I'm definitely coming back

The work was pretty easy because we're a lot of volunteers (6) but if there is less than 4 it will become overwhelming I think. My favorite part is the common living room ! So great to gather and meet people! A lot of the appliances were not functioning / broken and hasn't been repaired or replaced for the whole 2 months and made the experience less comfortable. Also the lack of management others volunteer mentioned didn't improved, but it had pros and cons. Overall, I think the experience depends on the other volunteers a lot! For me they were all great, so I had a good time !

My two months at the hostel where very nice 👍 The work was the best I ever had in volunteering, easy and fast! The volunteering team and Takeo from staff was perfect! The only bad things was that some facilities need reparations and sometimes the manager didn't gave the schedule on time but despite that I recommend the hostel!

My experience in Naha was very good. The work is straightforward, they're very flexible and they respect your days off. It's also in a great location in the capital, near the bus station. If you're lucky enough to have good weather and a nice group of volunteers, it's a great place to spend your time. The only downside I'd mention is that communication with the managers and staff could perhaps be a bit better, but overall I've had a great time! Thanks to everyone!
