I was supposed to stay for two weeks. But after a couple of days it really started to feel like home and I didn't want to leave. Thankfully Aga let me stay for another week. Everything in there was great. I could explore the beautiful Füssen, the castles and the nature a lot, since the work wasn't hard and on some days we were done by 12 p.m. We had to change bedsheets, put them in a washing machine, hang them out to dry and after a couple of hours, bring them back inside. It was my first worldpackers experience and I really recommend it. Thank you for having me!

This was my first worldpaclers experience, and I couldn't reccomend it more. I stayed for 3 weeks, and greatly enjoyed my time at LA house. The work was very light, only around 3 hours in the mornings, sometimes more if there are many rooms in the hostel checking out. Work included cleaning rooms, stripping the beds, doing the laundry, and vacuuming. Lahdo and Aga are very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in whatever adventures I was up to! There is so much to do in Fussen as well, during my stay I rock climbed, hiked, and even went parasailing :) A great opportunity!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I honestly had such an amazing time! The hours were very reasonable, and I had plenty of time after work to explore the area and enjoy my time in Fussen. Lahdo and Aga are such amazing hosts they’re both incredibly sweet and understanding. I felt very comfortable staying with them and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone considering it!

Overall we had a wonderful experience. Our hosts were very kind and accommodating, and in particular allowed us to move our days off to coincide with a visit from a friend. They allowed us to borrow bikes and gave us free bus passes which made exploring the surrounding area much easier. They also took the time to give us helpful insight/recommendations on nearby hikes which was greatly appreciated. The one note is the overall hotel is quite small so the kitchen is also used by the family as their office and is also very close to the guest's quarters which makes cooking a bit more difficult.

This was my first volunteering experience and it was really nice!🥰. I especially loved getting to know Füssen, I enjoyed my time there, but also the hosts are very kind and welcoming, so I felt very comfortable.
The work is quite simple, just a few hours in the morning, and in the afternoon picking up the sheets and towels once they are dry.
This was a very positive experience, and I would definitely recommend it to other volunteers!👍🏻

This was my first experience as a Volunteer and I couldnt be more happy. Lahdo and Aga are incredible hosts. They made me feel at home from the very beggining. They ,and also Alguin, have patience to explain the main tasks, you work in the morning and one hour maybe in the afternoons. Füssen is amazing, nature wherever you look around. You have Breakfast and Laundry include and a kitchen for you. They also allow me to use a Bycicle so I could move around easier. I'm very grateful for my time here, I could practice speaking in English and German. I would recommend this Volunteer to anyone ☺️🩷

The place to stay was very comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped as well. It was very nice to meet Aga and Lahdo, they were always respectful and understanding when I had to leave earlier than expected due to a family emergency.
The town, Füssen, is definitely beautiful in winter but I'm sure a stay during summer would be more enjoyable due to the high season and all the activities in nature.

At first everything was fine, but in the second week the host refused to give me my day off and pushed me to move it to the next week. I said this was not acceptable, since they offer one day off per week. They seem to do this often, as I found a note in the kitchen from another volunteer apologizing for asking for her day off. It was clear the hosts expect volunteers to adjust to their needs, and if not, they threaten you with leaving, knowing you have nowhere else to go. I was kicked out right before my birthday and after New Year's, which made it very hard to find another place due the seas
