Program Details

For this position we are asking for a 4 week min stay and the cost is $360 for your first month and $10/day if you wish to stay beyond that. This allows time for you to get to know us, the project, the nature, and the community here. We offer all meals of home made food. We serve mostly vegetarian with vegan and gluten free options. You have options for accommodation depending on what is available and what you prefer.

Currently we are young and growing project. Our growth is slow and organic (a labour of love) because we do everything by hand and working towards off-grid systems. Having longer term stays helps us have a more knowledgeable and close knit group!

Volunteers help us advance our project by contributing your hands, time, ideas and creativity. The surrounding area is home to rural ticos (locals), and nature loving expats.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers specifically help with cooking all 3 meals (no one needs to cook for themselves outside of the daily 4-5 hour shift :), cleaning and maintaining the whole lodge and garden, and assisting with simple projects like sanding, painting, making signs, etc. We do our best to accommodate schedule requests and to give 2 days off in a row. so that you can go exploring while you are here!
