The Experience

As a nonprofit retreat center, we rely on volunteer support for all our operations; we would be happy for you to join us. You will find it’s an opportunity both to give back through service, and to deepen your own personal development. Typically, your responsibilities will be in housekeeping, garden/grounds, or the kitchen (sometimes all three), although you may also help manage guests or take on special projects. All staff help with dishwashing.

Having volunteered at the Center was truly a blessing! The breathtaking property with its stunning and vibrant nature and especially the people that I got to work with made my experience incredible! The tasks are very easy to fulfill and I really enjoyed cooking Lunch and Dinner with fellow volunteers or Chef Joshua :) Everyone is extremely helpful and supportive which made it feel like home and I can only recommend this experience to anyone who either wants to learn about Tibetan Buddhism, wants to become more mindful, or wants to make deep connections with others.

No words can explain how magical it is. Come to relax, grow, have fun, get away, work on spirituality. The people, food, rooms, landscape and area are also wonderful. This is an experience like no other.

We are so grateful to have had you with us these last months; thank you for everything you have done for the Center. Please know you always have a place with us.

Well it's overwhelming to leave, I was grabbing to the moment as much as I could. Working experience is 10/10, but, the spiritual awakening and love you will receive in exchange (if you are willing and looking for it) will be out of this world. There is no place like the Center, no people like the people you are going to meet there, every little and big detail, will go beyond everything you can expect.

Eugenia, we are so glad to have had you with us—and especially to have been able to support you in your spiritual growth. We very much look forward to your return.

Being at the Center exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful time here. Everybody was kind, respectful, and fun, I am grateful for this opportunity. I will never forget Liliana, Frank, and Joshua! The rooms and all the facilities are spot clean! The food is amazing!! And there is a beautiful magical forest and views from the Mountains! Thank you very much for this opportunity, I had a great experience and I learnt a lot!

Thank you for your great enthusiasm and positive energy; you were a terrific member of our team and we appreciate everything!

Omg what can I say about my experience here… It could't have been better, they always tried their best to ensure the volunteers the Center, the atmosphere with the volunteers really felt like we were all a family and the accommodation felt like I was in a hotel, everything super clean and big variety of food everyday. I've learned a lot here, specially in the kitchen and the tasks never felt like work but somethings you have to do in your home to keep it clean. I had so many time to work in my mental health there, to visit the towns around and to learn somethings about buddhism and meditation
