The Experience
Our nonprofit retreat center spans 90 acres and five buildings, and we need your help with painting, mowing, weeding, trail work in summer, shoveling in winter, and other housekeeping tasks—plus everyone helps with dishes. In return, you’ll receive room, board, and profound spiritual support in a deeply welcoming community. This is your chance to give back while deepening your own personal development. What makes this a memorable experience, apart from such beautiful natural scenario, and the comfort of the accommodations is, by far, the quality of the people I met there, volunteers and the staff members were thoughtful and collaborative. I made great friends from different parts of the world. I learned a lot about meditation, and became interested in Buddhism. I wished my experience had been longer. I will definitely return. I do hope you will enjoy and have fun, as much as I did. Your experience will be as you want it to be. It was a real joy, thank you all for having me there. :)

You are a tremendous addition to the team—your joy is infectious. Importantly, you also helped everyone see that the experience is there for the taking, but that it is up to the individual to take advantage of it...which I am sure helped many others have a great experience, too.
