My experience at the organization was nothing short of incredible. Everyone welcomed me with open arms and I felt at home from the moment I arrived. The kids are all amazing and make your time at the orphanage so special. The schedule is very relaxed, and you are mostly free to help out with whatever you want to/feel is necessary, some examples include helping to teach the younger kids, basic childcare, farming, helping in the kitchen. I am so grateful to have been able to volunteer at the organization and would absolutely encourage anyone to do the same! Feel free to message with any questions:)

The organization is an amazing place where you will be overwhelmed with how happy the children are. It is clear the staff and Joseph genuinely care about the children and that your support makes a difference. Highly recommend! Some points for other volunteers: - There are other ways to get to Bomet for much cheaper whilst still being safe (if you are unable to afford the costly transfers), e.g. easy coach from Nairobi is around $10 and pretty good. - Whilst the guys are cool the optional safari is pretty low quality and overpriced, you can find much better safaris from Nairobi.

Thanks so much for the great review Tom, we really appreciate and are happy that our volunteers like you value our commitment to serve the orphan kids.
On the other hand, I agree we don't really advise volunteers to use the public transportation due a number of reasons one being the current outbreak of MPOX in east Africa and for safety concerns like most of the volunteers arrive at night and they have to be picked up from the airport.
For the safari we are not connected in any way to the safari and it would be good to share it with them so they can improve on their service.
We appreciate the review and you're much welcome any other time!!

First of all, I want to show my appreciation to the project staff and hosts. Everyone made me feel very welcomed and happy. The experience has changed my life and I consider them my Kenyan family. I had an amazing time with the kids (who are extremely lovely and caring), never felt bored and I'm looking forward to come back. It was very inspiring to share experiences and exchange culture with them. Noah and Joseph you are the best. Keep with the hard work of giving the best future to these children. the project is my home as well.

I have spent 6 weeks in the project and it was an incredible experience! Everyone is welcoming and makes you feel at home. Joseph, the founder, will treat you as one of his own kids. Noah is open to take you on fun trips around. The kids are the cutest and their smiling faces will make every day special. You will live as the locals and get to know their culture while being surrounded by the greenest nature. This experience was truly heartwarming! The connections with the childrens and andults as well as the great memories will hold a special place in my ❤️

I just completed this volunteering experience at the project and I can say that it was definitely the best experience of my life. These children are wonderful, they have been able to react to a difficult past and they always keep a smile on their face. It has been really rewarding and educational for me to have taken care of them. Also, I thank so much Joseph, who runs the project and who is like a dad to these amazing children, he is a pure person with a big heart. You will feel at home here, surrounded by people and children ready to give you all their love.

I just completed my month-long volunteering at the project and it was the most incredible touching experience I have ever had! I was convinced to jump in head first as a solo female who had never been to Africa from these reviews so if you take anything away from me, please apply and go!! I was truly touched by the children, the founder, the staff and of course Noah. Everyone welcomed me into their home and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at home. After a month, I was not ready to leave and I look forward to coming back in the near future to see my new family in Kenya!!!

Volonteering at the project was my first voloteering experience and it was amazing. The kids are so nice, they will love to meet you. They are also very hard working and help you out whenever you need them. I would also recomend everyone to go on a safari trip, it was one of the best experiences I could have wished for. I had such a great time at the project, and even met two other amazing volonteers. I have to say though, that it is not very clear what your work, you're supposed to do, is. But that was not a big deal, I just helped out where they needed me.

Wow! What an incredible experience I had at the project in Kenya! I'm filled with emotions after MY FIRST volunteer stint here. The kids are simply amazing. They're the hardest workers, always brimming with laughter and affection. I'm incredibly grateful for the bond I could build with them in such a short time. I highly recommend anyone considering volunteering here to go for it. Not only will you be helping a remarkable case, but you'll also undergo a transformative experience. It would be fantastic to have more opportunities to contribute. Thank you, the project, for having me.
