The Experience

Every volunteer resident works three 5-hour shifts and one 2-hour shift (on average) every 6 days. (Please note, this is a 6 day cycle) Providing a good social vibe and cleanliness of the hostel is very important. You will be working the reception desk, checking guests in and out, cleaning, helping to set up the yoga mats for classes, and general help around the hostel.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at, the work is easy and the hours are very reasonable. AK is a perfect host, he is clear and direct with communication and a pleasure to be around. The city of San Cristóbal itself is also amazing, incredible food as well as great music. I highly recommend volunteering here, thank you AK for facilitating so many unforgettable memories during my stay✌️

My time is the hostel was something that I will cherish for all my life. That cliche that people make the place is absolutely true! I am really thankful for all the people I have met there – volunteers and guests, without them my experience wouldn't be the same. San Cristobal is a great city with many things happening around the world– community kitchen, great films, nice food and loads of cultural activities (drop me a message if you want some recs). The work in the hostel is pretty chill and you always will have people to talk! And the location is amazing!

What can I say beautiful places attract beautiful people. It was the best month ever. Its social but family vibe. You can feel at home chilling and cooking all together but if you want to do something there is always something going on: Game's ,hikes, cooking, yoga, adventure and exhibitions. It's the most wholesome place to work. The working ours are so fair and AK Is so lovely. Couldn't recommend enough.

One of my best volunteering, the place is very cozy, AK the owner is very friendly and helpful. The tasks are very simple to do, and you have everything to help you. The place is in the center of the center of San Cristobal and it's very a pleasure to work there. I recommand this volunteer 100% !
