My time at Guest House En was mostly enjoyable, but there are some parts of the experience that can be improved. There was little communication and supervision, the owner seemed somewhat disinterested in me, the living spaces weren't very comfortable. The free meals were only served on workdays and we ate very late sometimes. I also felt as if there was some distance between myself and the other staff. However, the owner took me out twice, I met local people, the work is easy, hostel events are free for staff, and I spoke a lot of Japanese – if you can't communicating might be hard.

Each person is very nice individually however I have never felt a part of the “group”. Tasks were ok I guess. Thanks for the experience and thanks to Kou-San, the responsible, Yusaku the Chef and to Atsuki and Suzu ✌🏾

A localização é muito conveniente, perto da estação, comércios e dos pontos turísticos. O hostel em si é muito bom, há um bar/café onde poderá se conectar com pessoas locais. Fiz algumas amizades com hóspedes que passaram ali. Passei 1 mês em Hiroshima e acho que foi longo demais para mim. De qualquer forma, nos dias de folga, viajava para as cidades no entorno. As tarefas do hostel são simples. Também pude emprestar a bicicleta, ajudou me locomover por ali.

Mi primer experiencia como voluntaria y me sentí bastante bien!! Kou-san y todo el equipo fueron siempre muy amables. Las tareas realizadas fueron exactamente lo que se anuncia. I'm glad to have been part of the team! Kou-san and all the staff made me feel one of them. And I had the opportunity to know some people from another countries and make new friends in Hiroshima! ✨😁
