The experience

■ Help needed: Cleaning and Reception
3～6 hours out of 9:00-22:00
-Cleaning, bed making and reception.
-Writing travel blogs and posting SNS featuring your own experiences. (2 posts on Instagram a week is a must)
-Helping organizing event ( for example, "English Night" for locals)
Always other staff is in a hostel and we'll help you.

■ Minimum period
FULL 5 WEEKS AT LEAST, up to 3 months.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English and Beginner Japanese

Between 18 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

-Japanese working holiday/student/work visa is needed.
-We try to make days off consecutive so that you can make a small trip during your stay.

Rules

■ We are looking for someone…
-who is always picky about cleanliness
-who is friendly with natural smiles and can take the lead or initiative in communication with our guests
(The most important thing is to show your genuine hospitality to every single guests. No loud parties allowed. )
-who has an attitude to learn basic Japanese (We will teach you.)
-who can write or who is used to post on SNS
-who likes exploring the city and sharing your experiences, not being lazy in our place too long.
