The experience

We are located in the upper town of Thessaloniki. It is only 15mins walk from the center but it feels like a small village, because of the unique architecture, the stone-paved streets and the relaxed atmosphere.We are looking for worldpackers who can help us with the cleaning and the housekeeping. Also some help could be used during breakfast, coffee preparation and welcoming guests by offering a drink, giving maps and tips and showing the rooms.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate German

Between 18 and 36 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

5 hrs a day.Taking 1-2 days of a week.It could be done either 9am till 14:00 or 18:00 till 23:00.
Every sunday ,we gather and we make the schedule of the next week according to the needs of the hostel.

Activities & Shift

The usual hostel's activities.Housekeeping and cleaning.Breakfast preparation.Bed linen folding.Bar assistance during some afternoons.Welcoming guests.

Rules

we are open from 8am till 23:00.
After 23:00 at night we ask everyone to respect the quiet hours.
