Ho trascorso due settimane fantastiche facendo volontariato in questo ostello. José è stato un anfitrione molto rilassato e flessibile e è stato sempre molto facile mettersi in contatto. Il lavoro vero era piacevole e mi ha aiutato a praticare il mio spagnolo con viaggiatori ecuadoriani e altri latinoamericani. Lo consiglierei a chi vuole godersi Montañita, socializzare nell'ostello e vedere le spiagge e le città circostanti!

Abbiamo avuto una bellissima esperienza facendo volontariato nell'ostello. Dal momento in cui siamo arrivati, ci hanno fatti sentire davvero i benvenuti. L'ospite José era amichevole, disponibile e sempre pronto ad aiutare con tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. Il lavoro era equo e ben organizzato, con orari ragionevoli che ci lasciavano ancora molto tempo libero per rilassarci e godere della zona. L'ostello era molto socievole e abbiamo incontrato molte persone durante il soggiorno; consigliamo questa esperienza a chiunque!

Montañita e l'ostello sono stati il luogo perfetto per celebrare il Capodanno, mi sono divertito molto con tutti gli altri volontari e ospiti, mi sono divertito davvero tanto Grazie Montañita e l'ostello

Prima di tutto, ho davvero passato un momento fantastico a Montañita e l'ostello è davvero figo e lo staff è gentile. Hanno anche cambiato molto il loro programma di volontariato alla fine del mio soggiorno. L'alloggio era davvero brutto, ma l'hanno cambiato in qualcosa di davvero buono. Il lavoro è più di pulizie che di reception, ma non è molto lavoro, a livello orario. Non è proprio un ostello party, ma ci sono sempre diversi volontari e ospiti con cui connettersi. Consiglio di fare volontariato da hiddenhouse se sei disposto a un ostello tranquillo e tavole da surf gratuite!

I had a great experience at the hostel. The hostel itself is really impressive with a good location, nice kitchen, and plenty of chill out spaces. It was quiet during low season but there were still lots of friendly people around. The host was very easy to communicate with and the work was very relaxed. I would definitely recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hostel in Montañita, and I can confidently say it was an incredible experience. The hostel, under the exceptional leadership of Jose, offers a warm and welcoming environment that makes you feel right at home. Jose is not just an owner; he is a true ambassador of hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and taken care of. The vibes and volunteers are immaculate. Sono partito presto, sono grato che Jose sia stato comprensivo al riguardo. La stanza dei volontari è davvero piena e non sono riuscito a disfare le valigie, vivo praticamente con lo zaino. Lo spazio in generale è ideale per rilassarsi, mi sono piaciute molto le amache, i compiti sono facili (ma anche molto noiosi, spazzare le foglie ancora e ancora). Inoltre, il peggior aspetto è che dicono di fornire tavole da surf, ma la maggior parte sono rotte o senza pinne, solo un tipo funziona. Sono partito presto, sono grato che Jose sia stato comprensivo al riguardo.

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel: the common areas are big and well organised, perfect to socialise. Cherry on top were the other volunteers, I feel like we made a great team and worked really well together. Accommodation should be better, the volunteers' room is overcrowded and there is barely any space to walk or put your stuff. Jose helped with everything we needed, however I feel like the volunteers should be taken better care of. Most of the times we were left to interact with the manager, who always brushed off anything we had to say and often talked down to us

The hostel is a really nice spot to volunteer at. It's super quite and chill now, not a party hostel as it used to be. Jose is welcome and always help you whatever you need. One of the best parts is that you can use hostel's surfboards for free. I'd definitely recommend you to stay at the hostel if you want to spend a couple of weeks in Montañita The reason I give a 4 is that I applied for a bartender position, but there was not much work and I had to change it to reception at the hostel
