The experience

Work alongside our teaching staff to deliver English lessons to children in primary school level between the ages 8-15
You will also help conduct basic lessons on photography and videography for our media staff

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 70 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Uganda

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Volunteers work under a designated volunteer coordinator who guides them on the tasks to be done and links them up with the different project leader.
You work upto 4 hours each day and you have three days off of resting

Activities & Shift

Teaching different classes at different intervals. Approximately 3-4 lessons a day. Each lesson lasts about 45 minutes

Rules

Our guesthouse closes at 8:00 pm each day. Volunteers must make sure that they are back to the guesthouse by that time.
