My experience here was truly incredible, one of the best of my life! Huge thanks to Niek, the whole reception team, and special thanks to Cathy, who felt like a mom to all the volunteers, always caring, helping, and making us laugh. The work schedule is well organized, leaving plenty of free time to explore. Tasks can be demanding but manageable and fun thanks to the amazing atmosphere. The people and connections made this experience unforgettable. I arrived as a volunteer and left feeling like I was leaving family behind. Thank you for making my time in The Hague so special! I'll be back!

I had a nice volunteer experience in the hostal, I got the chance to meet a lot of people and get inspired by them. I would recommend it, as it could also allow you to discover a new city and also get a bit of work experience in cleaning and hostal life :)

I've been at Will & the hostel for a little bit over a month and I wished I stayed I few weeks more. This place was literally a breath of fresh air. The staff was incredibile, from all around the world and super welcoming. For the entire duration of my stay I felt like I was part of a big family and It was almost heartbreaking leaving and have to say goodbye to everyone. I will always bring this experience and the people that I've met there in my heart. I highly recommend this hostel for everyone who's looking for a fun and joyful experience in The Netherlands.

I volunteered at Will and the hostel for around 3 weeks and that was my first Worldpackers experience ever. I had an amazing stay in The Hague and at the hostel. I got to meet many people and bond with them. The staff is so nice and always willing to accomodate your needs or requests. The working team was equally nice and I am so glad I met them. Cathy is always a text away and it all felt like being in a family. If you are thinking of joining the team, do not hesitate. You will have a blast. Thank you for everything. I will surely come back! :)

Cathy is the best host imaginable, she makes everyone feel seen and heard and she creates a family-like atmosphere in the hostel. The rest of the hostel staff, too, are amazing people, the vibes are super friendly and I always felt welcome there. I would recommend Will&the hostel to everyone not afraid of some housekeeping work and Dutch weather!🩶

The manager Cathy is really lovely and happy; both as a person and a manager. The facilities are nice, especially the café near reception! And the coffee in the breaks(: There wasn't much social outside of work, primarily because the other volunteers all had work and other responsibilities. But the work was taken seriously, and often finished a bit early. The receptionists were all also very kind! A good environment that I'm looking forward to being back to, and seeing all the people working there!(:

I spent three months at the hostel, and I'm sure I'll be back. The people there are very welcoming, and the atmosphere is great. I'm leaving with so many friends and an experience I'll remember forever. Cathy is a lovely person and is always open to chat when you need her. The work can be tiring at times when the hostel is full, but overall it's pretty manageable. I recommend this hostel 100%.

I had an incredible 5 weeks volunteering at Will & the hostel! Cathy, the host, is a truly wonderful human being - full of positive energy, super easy to communicate with, understanding, and truly cares about her volunteers ❤️ The owner Niek and all the reception staff are incredible too! Breakfast foods are provided with a well equipped kitchen, beds/rooms were comfortable, hot showers & a great location (nearby supermarkets, Scheveningen beach, Japanese gardens, museums, etc.) The work arrangements were always as agreed to and never too much of a challenge. Can't wait to be back:)

I had an incredible experiencie at Will&the hostel! I spent 2 months volunteering here as a housekeeper and I felt welcome from day one, the tasks were simple, and the shift system was very flexible The hostel is in a great location, very comfortable, and has plenty of useful facilities. A special thanks to Cathy and the whole team for always being kind, supportive, and ready to help with a smile. It really made a difference and helped create such a positive environment A volunteering experience I would recommend a thousand times!
