It was my first experience with Worldpackers and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better one. Mario and Sofia were so kind and welcoming from the very beginning, and I felt at home with them and the kids almost immediately. The house was very comfortable, the tasks were easy and relaxed, and they were always there whenever I had any questions. I had such a nice time with the whole family, and it was lovely to see how a Worldpackers experience turned into new friendships. I'm really happy I got to meet them and would definitely recommend staying with Mario and Sofia! ❤️

No podría recomendarlo lo suficiente. Todo es perfecto, incluso en los pequeños detalles de último minuto. La ubicación está muy cerca de varias rutas de senderismo cortas y lugares para surf. Los anfitriones Mario y Sofia son muy amables. Ellos comparten sus comidas culturales y yo puedo compartir las mías. También hay piscina, así que puedes darte un chapuzón frío si quieres.

I couldn't have picked a better first volunteering experience in Portugal. Fell in love with Ericeira and its surroundings. With its beaches, sunsets or spots for hiking. It's also perfect location for surfing. This town and family now have a special place in my heart! I really felt the guest house member of the family. Whatever I needed, they helped me and were very caring. Several times I was invited to share meals or to join the guest house activities. It is also inspiring how they work as a family and travel a lot with the kids. Looking forward to visiting Ericeira again:)

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was amazing! Mario and Sofia were so welcoming and helpful, they gave me lots of tips of where to go and answered any questions I had. The work was very straightforward and varied from day to day depending on how many checkouts there were. The house is located a little bit outside of town (20 minute walk) with a beautiful view of greenery and horses. Thank you for an unforgettable first Worldpackers experience!

Mario and Sofia's the guest house is really cute and the four guest rooms are cozy and kept very clean. It is a very good volunteer opportunity if you want to go surfing and explore Ericeira.

I had a wonderful time staying at the the guest house with such a kind and welcoming family. The hours were flexible, and I had a cosy room to myself with everything I needed. I would recommend it to anybody, and I would love to come back in the future ❤️❤️

It was my first experience and I really couldn't have imagined it any better. I immediately felt incredibly comfortable and welcome, the two hosts are super nice and want you to feel good. Mario told me a lot, showed me beautiful places and was often asked if I wanted to eat with the family or come along to events. The work is not hard and not much, I usually had to work less than 4 hours. You have to walk into town a bit, but you have a great location with a pool and a view of the countryside and horses!
