The experience

We're looking for English, French & Spanish, Native or fluent participants as volunteers or interns or scholars to come to Senegal for at least 3weeks to help foreign languages learning, maths for kids & students to practice and improve their English skills. This program is intended to boost and motivate our students to reconnect with English and practice more and more to be able to express themselves with the use of English.

What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Description: Contribution helps cover some accommodation fees.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Beginner French

Between 20 and 55 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Your work will be to assist elementary students about their subkjects at school and help students with English if possible. As an Au Pair participant, you'll also be learning about Senegalese culture, French, Wolof. If you're a scholar, you'll be provided advice and support about your field of interest. University meetings will be arranged to discuss with students and Doctorants.
