The experience

We are looking for a bartender to create our vibe and interact with our guests.
Fun and outgoing person. Not shy to engage with others. Give information and suggestions about our area.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent English

Between 18 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside South Africa

Program Details

You will share a mixed dorm with other volunteer. It will be a max of 25-30 hours per week. You are more than welcome to use our laundry facilities. The summers are very warm and it’s great swimming and relaxing by the pool. You can take a 20-minute walk to the V&A waterfront or to the beach and watch the sunset.

Activities & Shift

You would need to work at the Bar from 5 pm till midnight.
Duties are serving drinks, cleaning the bar, and also doing a stock take thereafter completing your shift with a cash up. And the occasional late check-in.

The kitchen shift would consist of prepping small items for our Saturday house BBQ
