The experience

We are looking for a bartender and someone to help with basic continental breakfast serving from time to time also to join our vibe and interact with our guest.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent English

Between 19 and 40 years old

Be from outside South Africa

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or pairs)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

You will share a 4bed mixed dorm with other staff members. It will be a max of 25-30 hours per week. You are more than welcome to use our laundry facilities. Free filter coffee all day with great WIFI. The summers are very warm and it’s great swimming and relaxing by the pool. You can take a 20-minute walk to the V&A waterfront or to the beach and watch the sunset.

Activities & Shift

You would need to work at the Bar from 5 pm till 11 pm.
Duties are serving drinks, cleaning the bar, and also doing a stock take thereafter completing your shift with a cash up.

The kitchen shift would consist of prepping small items for our Saturday house BBQ
