This experience doesn't require a lot of skill and the required tasks will be explained and introduced to you by an experienced worker. Asking for help is never judged and the host is very reachable. Your responsibility is starting your shift on time, finishing the tasks required for it and not stressing over about having to clean up after guests that have bad manners. This way the hostel runs properly and you show respect to your co-volunteers as well as your host. You have a lot of free time which is great to explore Tirana and the hostel. I incredibly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it 🙌🏼

My volunteering was an incredible and unforgettable experience. I volunteered with my boyfriend, we felt accepted, respected and had so much fun. We were really lucky with the team, the other volunteers as well as the guests were super nice and unique people. There were many opportunities to socialise (cozy rooftop, weekly BBQs, a concert), which I really enjoyed. The host is big on respect and communication, and although he may sometimes be overwhelmed and hot-headed, he always made sure to own up to his shortcomings and fix any misunderstandings. I would recommend to anyone, thank you Class!

It was my first time doing a volunteering experience and I honestly really enjoyed it. I was lucky with my teammates, they were all super friendly and I felt comfortable from the beginning. I also had three days off to explore Tirana and the surrounding areas, so I really made the most of the experience. I'm leaving with great memories and I would definitely do it again 🤗

Amazing place with amazing people! The location was very good and the work wasnt that demanding. The rooftop has a great view, and I enjoyed the political discussions that could be had bevause of like-minded people coming together in one spot. The host at times may have a straightforward way of speaking, so dont take it to heart and be sure to communicate and speak your mind ;) All in all, I loved my time there and would deffo volunteer here again if circumstances allow it!

Our experience at Villa Villekulla was great. Class is a very unique host, but above all, an excellent person. We really enjoyed meeting and connecting with other travelers, volunteers, and guests. The working hours and tasks were well balanced, and Class was always attentive, asking if we needed anything and getting it quickly.
