The Casa Hostel was a place where I really felt at home. From the first day they made me feel comfortable, cared for and well received. It is a calm space, where you can be at ease and enjoy. Its hostesses are the nicest and closest, always willing to listen and help if you need it. The tasks are simple and manageable. It is a place I would highly recommend and to which I would always return. I love you, Clari and Lari🤍

After two years volunteering in Brazil, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The job advertised on Worldpackers does not match reality: the names of the former hostel owners, and not of the current host, listed 3 days off and alternating shifts, but in practice there were only 2 days off and consecutive night shifts. When I questioned it, the host ignored me.
Volunteers are treated as staff, with charges outside the shift. The water from the sink is not suitable for drinking and I was scheduled until 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, with no flexibility.
I do not recommend it, because what is promised is not fulfilled.

My time at the the hostel was great, I was very well received, I felt at home, I met incredible people and made wonderful friendships. The tasks were relaxed and the schedule was respected. The location of the hostel is very good, you can practically do almost everything on foot, and the beaches of Arraial are beautiful, the desire not to leave anymore.

The hostel exceeded my expectations 😍 the environment is like being at home, I felt at ease from the start. The vibe is relaxed and cheerful. The hostess Clary makes the routine light, she encouraged me and supported me always with affection! She also includes the volunteers in the activities and dinners at the hostel and there’s always something interesting happening there. The house is big and comfortable, the volunteers' room is cozy and our breakfast is very delicious! I loved my time at the hostel, I recommend and I want to go back to do the boat trip I won! Haha

Estrutura maneiríssima, gente boa e praias lindas! o hostel é incrível em todos esses ambitos e a Naomi e Lucas são muito abertos e diretos, o que facilita a comunicação demaaaais. Os voluntários que estão por lá também são super gente fina e fazem com que o hostel tenha vibe de casa mesmo!

O Lá Casa simplesmente é Família! O hostel é acolhedor,cheio de vida e muito Lindo! A equipe de voluntários foi Maravilhosa e os hóspedes estavam sempre muito abertos a interagir e passear por Arraial. Os anfitriões sempre deram todo o suporte necessário e ajudaram em todo o necessário. É um lugar realmente para se sentir em casa.

O que dizer do hostel, é simplesmente fascinante, tem uma energia surreal, com uma imersão cultural e linguística fascinante, tanto com os hospedes ou com outros voluntarios, do Brasil e de outras diversas partes do mundo, os anfitriões são pessoas de muita luz, sempre dispostos a te ajudar e ensinar o que for necessário ou solicitado, em resumo posso dizer com toda certeza que esse foi o melhor voluntariado da minha vida, espero que um dia eu possa voltar e vivenciar por mais tempo essa experiência! ❤

Primer experiencia como voluntaria!Superando expectativas y miedos! el hostel es un lugar hermoso donde te enseñan las actividades con paciencia y tranquilidad. Pude sentirme cómoda el primer día gracias a todo el equipo de trabajo. el hostel está en perfectas condiciones, no solo para el huésped si no también para nosotros los voluntarios. Si buscas un lugar para hacer voluntariado, no lo dudes. Acá encontrás gente hermosa. Gracias a Naomi y lucas por la oportunidad! Y a todas las personas hermosas que conocí.
