During the busy summer season we mainly need help with housekeeping at our 2 small guesthouses and 2 rental cottages. Although we are a casual accommodation we aim to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and will need people who can pay attention to small details. From July we will be adding a cafe / chill-out space / reception area with a large deck. We need ideas and experienced people to get it up and running.
25 hours of help per week
Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
2 days off per week
Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Cook your own meal: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.
Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.
Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Housekeeping duties include cleaning prepping rooms and communal spaces.
Although we are a casual accommodation we aim to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. We need people who can pay attention to small details like a hair on the bed, or a wrinkle in the towel. We prefer people who have had to do some cleaning on the job before.
Housekeeping duties include cleaning prepping rooms that have checked out. Hallways need vacuuming, toilets and showers are cleaned everyday. The kitchen is cleaned, communal fridge cleared out, towels changed and washing done and hung out to dry.
4 pm shift includes turning on lights at 2 guesthouses and pick up and folding laundry
10 pm shift includes turning off lights and putting out check out notices, and final check up (garbage etc,)
Late shifts (4&10) only require 1 person. Only 1 of the later shifts would be scheduled in a day and will be rotated among all the staff.
Staff House cleaning tasks will be rotated among the helpers and will count as part of the 25 hour work week.
Must have a Working Holiday or other Work or Student Visa if not a resident of japan. We expect staff and volunteers to be mature, responsible, punctual, and respectful towards guests and other staff and volunteers. Even though it is a volunteer position we need people who will take the job seriously and take pride in their work. We also hope people will make the most of their time off by exploring the area and enjoying the beach.
