My time at the hostel was absolutely great! Matheus is such a funny, kind, and helpful guy. Working with him was a lot of fun, and I also really enjoyed spending time with him outside of work. The work is simple, typical hostel stuff: cleaning, reception, and helping out with whatever else needs to be done. The hostel itself is very cozy and has a perfect location. The hostel is a very good place to live and experience montevideo ! The location is close to the nice spots in the city and in a very nice neighbourhood. Matheus was very welcoming and made integration into the city quiete easy for me. The tasks were easy and included cleaning and being at the reception. My stay at the hostel was amazing. Matheus is a great host who makes the volunteers feel welcome, supports a fun, relaxed work environment, and has great recomendaciones for things to do in Montevideo while there. He also invites others to be social when not working. The hostel itself is in a beautiful building in a great part of the city. There are many good food options around and it is close to Playa Ramírez, which is great to visit in the evenings. I met many cool people in my three weeks working there, including other volunteers. Highly recommend staying and working at the hostel.

Thank you for all that time in Montevideo, Matheus was a great host, always respecting the volunteers' schedules and days off. The work was easy, and I found the place well located, with beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, fruit shops, the Sunday market (everything is cheaper there), and even the old city is within walking distance. I'm grateful and wish the hostel all the best, and more adventures on the rooftop

My experience at the hostel was excellent! I had the opportunity to challenge myself in a new city, meet people from all over the world, practice new languages, and make friends. The host, Matheus, is really nice. Friendly and attentive, and I had so much fun with him! I highly recommend this volunteer experience to everyone. I will miss the guests and the volunteers with whom I built such a beautiful friendship.

The tasks are simple and the shifts are always reliable, the host Matheus is super flexible with days off. At times it felt a little unorganised as Matheus is super relaxed, but I never felt stressed or worried. This experience was an amazing way to meet new people and improve my Spanish, and I never felt judged for my beginner Spanish :)

The hostel was a wonderful experience in Uruguay. The hostel is in a great location and the area is really calm. There is a bar right under it so it was hard to sleep some nights but that didn't impact the experience! The hours and shifts were respected although changed a lot, but were also really flexible. Tasks are easy and the environment is super chill. Matheus is a great host:) Would recommend.
