This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was great! After travelling for a few months I worked for a few weeks here at the guest house and it was great to have some structure in my schedule and take travelling a bit slower. The hours are great and although there are some busier days, they are balanced by quieter days too where you can finish early once the work is done. The work can be challenging at first but it becomes easy to master once you get into the groove of things. I would definitely recommend the guest house as a base to explore Hiroshima and surrounds on days off or after work!

The guest house is really the most beautiful hostel I've ever been to! The work is exhausting at the start, but u often finish ealier and everyone work fast as a team! The employees who teach you everything are so kind and patient!! Really a great place to get to know Hiroshima💗

We spent 3 weeks at the guest house and it was really nice. We met great people and the job was fair and clear, we often finished early and had been able to ask for a day off that was more convenient for us. I highly recommend this guesthouse which is perfectly located and Hiroshima has so much to offer ! Thanks to all the team :)

We had an exceptional three-week stay volunteering at the guest house Hiroshima! The guesthouse is ideally located just a two-minute walk from the main station. It is very well-equipped and, above all, spotless; the dorms are quite spacious and comfortable. The work is fairly standard, and you receive solid training. The scheduled shift is from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, but you can leave earlier provided the work is finished. The on-site staff are very friendly and welcoming, you really feel like part of the team! I highly recommend it! Thanks again for a fantastic stay!

The guest house was one of the best hostels I have stayed at. Everything is modern, clean, and organized. The work was tiring on some days, but those days were compensated by more relaxed ones. There are many rules regarding everything that must be done during cleaning, which truly reflects the Japanese style. I had some difficulty during the first few days; however, Ryoko and the other staff members were very patient and caring while teaching me. The electric bike and the free rice are very useful and make life much easier for volunteers :)

The hostel is really great, the beds are very comfortable and everything is clean. Cleaning can be quite strenuous and it takes a few days to get used to the work. After work you have enough time to explore Hiroshima. Unfortunately, while I was there there wasn't any group activity's or get together, so this position is probably better suited for people who enjoy spending time alone or are good at taking the initiative and organise some joint activities.

Second time at the guest house. Probably one of the cleanest most comfortable hostels I've stayed at. This time I worked at the reception three days a week. Perfect to practice japanese and four days off a week is great and you also get free rice which is a huge help. The hostel is definitely not on the social side so better for those who want to explore Hiroshima on their own in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. If you're lucky and the other volunteers are as nice as the one I had you will spend a very pleasant time in Hiroshima.

I had a great experience overall. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with new people and be part of a supportive and welcoming environment. I really enjoyed working together, sharing ideas, and learning from each other. The host was kind and helpful, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay.
